Alpine Graphic Productions are operating in new location in King

Alpine Graphic Productions Ltd. have moved to Schomberg, and the people running the company are happy to be here.

Since its founding in 1947, Alpine has been supplying quality and durable graphics to the North American market. Signs and graphics wrapped around commercial and service vehicles might have come from Alpine. Their list of clients currently includes local firms like Silani Cheese, Foley Restoration and Faomite, along with the likes of Toronto and Peel Regional Police, CN Rail, St. John Ambulance, Ontario Hydro and Canada Post — “Big companies that don’t want to be disappointed,” commented Managing Director Ian Middleton.

Middleton said the company was based in Toronto, in the area of Highway 400 and Finch Avenue. They have been operating out of their new location in Schomberg Industrial Park since August. Both Middleton and company President Ian MacRitchie live in the area and have been active in local youth sports, including hockey and soccer.

“We’re very excited to be here,” Middleton declared.

With 18 employees, Middleton was happy to report business is starting to pick up. With the state the economy has been in, he pointed out a recovery has to be good news.

“We’re finally seeing the cork come out of the bottle,’ he declared.

Alpine started out in screen printing, and they are still there. they added CAD/CAM, or computer cutting, in 1982, and largeformat digital printers in 1999.

With the combination of those three technologies, they are able to durable outdoor graphics in a variety of forms
