‘Soup’erb time was had at the Soup-a-licious event
Saturday was a busy day at Ansnorveldt Park, as Soup-a-licious showed off the food produced on the Holland Marsh. York — Simcoe MP Peter Van Loan wished everyone a “‘soup’erb day” at the opening ceremonies. Newmarket resident Rhianna Wood, 8 and her brother Tristan were sampling some of the wide varieties of soups that were available from numerous area chefs. Photos by David Anderson and Bill Rea Barrie area resident Jill Jambor, whose mother grew up on the Holland Marsh, provided some of the entertainment while people sampled the various soups. Daniel’s of Nobleton was among the numerous area restaurants offering terrific soup at Soup-a-licious.
