Official 2008 discovery guide to York Region now available

The Region has revamped its tourism guide to allow visitors and residents alike more opportunities to uncover fun things to do in York.

Discover York Region: 2008 Discovery Guide promotes awareness of the numerous outdoor, cultural, sporting, entertainment, shopping and dining activities in the region. It features historic villages, golf courses, parks and artistic and cultural activities.

Produced in partnership with the tourism industry, this 88-page guide features a fold-out map and promotional offers to a variety of attractions.

The 2008 Discovery Guide is available at York Region and area municipal offices.
