ARBOUR DAY CELEBRATIONS AT HMDCS

The Grade 3 class of Holland Marsh District Christian School, with help of Ansnorveldt park representative Tom Miedema, planted a Downey Serviceberry Tree Friday in light of Arbour Day in Ontario. After the ceremony, which included singing and Scripture reading, the students received white pine seedlings to plant at home. Pictured are the Grade 3 students, along with Councillor Jack Rupke, Miedema, and teacher Trudy Jager.
