Meeting tonight in Aurora to discuss generating station

Residents of northern York Region will get more chances to question whether their communities need a large, energy-inefficient electricity generating station.

A public meeting is planned for tonight (Wednesday) in Aurora

It is being organized by the Town of Aurora and will include presentations by the Ontario Power Authority (OPA), Ontario Clean Air Alliance (OCAA), the Association of Power Producers of Ontario and PowerStream.

It will start at 7 p.m. in the council chambers at Aurora Town Hall, at I Municipal Dr.
