Great local art on display in ASK Studio Tour King

Artists from all over King Township had their creations and tools on display over the weekend in the annual Studio Tour King, put on by Arts Society King. Christine Paige was at Laskay Hall with an assortment of her whimsical ceramic creations, including this Bastille Beetle.
Artists from the Kaleidoscope East Humber River, Karen Taylor, Ann Love and Fran Andreana, had their art featured at the King Township Museum.
Nancy Jones of King City had fine art and jewelry featured.
This creation was among the works of fine art Louise Garin of King City was showing.
Waterfowl carver Bob Sharer had a wide assortment of his work on display at Nobleton Public Library.
King City area resident Marianne Broome, who recently won best in show for her painting White Iris at the Richmond Hill Group of Artists Juried Show, was showing some of her creations.
Schomberg photographic artist Tom Wray was showing his work outside the local public library.
Ken Prescott, who paints contemporary fine art and collages, was showing his work at his Kettleby area studio.
Nobleton area artists Aggie McCormack and Wilhemina Cavan had several of their inventive creations on display in their King Road studio. McCormack is seen with an acrylic on paper work she called Abundance, while Cavan stands next to Red Pine in Snowstorm, an acrylic watercolour creation.
Karola Steinbrecher named this recently finished acrylic creation Colourful Garden.
Students the Schomberg School of Art were showing some of their creations. Tracy Neu is seen here with Greece Sunset, which she created in oils.
Phyllis Vernon was showing a number of her creations at Nobleton Public Library, depicting some historic scenes around King Township.
David Kempton of Schomberg was displaying his photographic work.
