Nobleton Skating Club

First of all, the Nobleton Skating Club would like to thank all of our very generous sponsors for helping to make our 50th anniversary ice show a success.

Thanks also to those who donated food to feed all of our volunteers who spent many hours setting up, and taking down, for the show. They needed something to help them keep going. Thanks to all the parents, family members and members of the community who came out to watch the show and cheer on our skaters. A special mention goes to Arcadia Academy of Music for providing the very talented singers who entertained the crowd. Everyone enjoyed themselves, and we look forward to our next ice show in 2010.

As a reminder, the annual general meeting for the club is being held April 30 at 7 p.m.

The Nobleton Skating Club is run entirely by volunteers, so we are always in need of help. Please use the general meeting as an opportunity to come out, share your ideas and learn more about the club. This meeting will focus on the election of new executive members for the 2008-2009 season. Ice show videos and dvd's will also be available for pick-up at the meeting.

Another reminder that registration for our first ever summer camp is due May 1. The camp is offered as a half or full day, running from July 7 to 11. Mornings are spent skating and afternoon activities are run through King Camps. Bussing and extended care is also available. Summer skating registration is due June 1. Summer session begins July 14 and ends August 27.

See our Web site at www.nobletonskatingclub.co m for schedules and registration forms.
