Colourful show helps Nobleton Skating Club mark 50 years

A Skate Down Memory Lane was a fitting way for the Nobleton Skating Club to celebrate its 50th anniversary over the weekend, and event that drew recognition from the likes of Gov. Gen. Michaelle Jean, Prime Minister Stephen Harper, Lt.- Gov. David Onley, Premier Dalton McGuinty and Mayor Margaret Black. Julia Ranson, Melanie Wigner, Stephanie Zacchingna and Jolene Sunseri were some of the teachers who skated in the show. Senior skaters Stephanie Zacchigna, Jessica Bantini, Melanie Wigner, Elena Vinco and Julia Morassutti were among those dressed as firefighters as part of the tribute to the contributions that have been made to the Nobleton community over the years.
