If you measure the humidity level with a hygrometer, it should not exceed 45 to 50% in order to keep the garage comfortable.

In order to control or reduce the humidity level, there are two methods: you can either use a dehumidifier unit or you can shut off the heating system and open the garage door about 8 to 10 inches for 10 to 15 minutes.
