Directory provides quick and easy access to local services
Region releases the 2008 YorkLink

York Region has released the 2008 edition of YorkLink: A Community Services Directory, a comprehensive guide to more than 700 community service providers and related government agencies.

This directory enables residents to quickly find information about the community services that are available in York.

YorkLink is available on-line through the Region's Web site at www.york.ca

A printed copy is available free of charge by calling (905) 830-4444 or 1-877-464- 9675, ext. 2151, or by e-mailing yorklink@york.ca

In addition, the YorkLink Directory is now available in an accessible pdf format for people with visual disabilities.

The on-line version of YorkLink is re-designed with streamlined information and improved site navigation, allowing users to find services quickly and easily. An interactive map of York now enables the search for any York Region address.

To make this directory accessible to all residents, YorkLink offers assistance to users in 12 languages. For assistance, call 1-877-263-6867.

Residents are encouraged to let the Region know what they think about YorkLink and the redesigned online version. Input is important and comments will help YorkLink continue to be an important source of community services information.
