King Blooms Fashion Show will be Thursday in Nobleton King Blooms is excited about hosting the Spring . . . At Last Fashion Show tomorrow (Thursday), according to show coordinator Lynda Rogers. The call for participation to the King Chamber of Commerce brought an overwhelming response. As a result, businesses and individuals across the township have combined efforts to present and evening of entertainment and fashion, with a silent auction that has something for everybody to bid on. The evening starts at 7 p.m. at the Imperial Ballroom in Nobleton with the big bands sound of the King City Secondary School Band as attendees arrive. The show will also highlight the volunteers from the King Township Firefighters, who will demonstrate their safety equipment and return later to escort the evening wear models. Intermission will bring songs by Amanda, Olivia and Sara, all vocalists studying at Arcadia Academy of Music. This year the King Blooms Committee is operating under a new funding model, and this fashion show is a major fundraiser. Last minute tickets may still be available by phone (905) 939-7916 or at la cherie, Sora Fashions, Kid's Country, Piety Ridge Primitives, Nobleton Farm Service, Patty's Country Flowers, Bed of Roses, Main Street Flowers and Country Lane Treasures. |
