WI looking for actors and participants in play The Nobleton Women's Institute (WI), as part of its 100th anniversary celebrations, is presenting performances of For Home and Country in July It is a "story of the sustaining power of women's friendships and of the history of the Women's Institutes, which began as the rural women's university and became a powerful force for social and personal change. It's a celebration of an amazing piece of women's history, told with all the songs and pageantry of popular theatre: it's also an intimate tale of Judy, a jaded urban feminist, and Lorna, a strong-minded country woman, as they struggle to understand each other. Above all, it's tremendous fun."
