St. Paddy's Day did not go unnoticed around King Township

St. Patrick's spirit was celebrated at King City United

There was a packed house at King City United Church Friday night for an evening of Irish stew and Irish entertainment.

The Church hosted its annual St. Patrick's Day party.

Musical entertainment came from Virgel Colby (right) who was playing the Uilleann Pipes, accompanied by his mother Myra and father Jim (bottom left).

Dessert was the best part of the meal for some at the dinner. Maja Walters and Brooklyn Lancaster were enjoying theirs.(top right).

Members of the Kenny family, Aidan, Megan, Kiera and Liam, helped entertain the crowd that gathered Saturday night at Schomberg Community Hall for the St Patrick's Day Dinner. the event was co-hosted by the Knights of Columbus and the Catholic Women's League of St. Patrick Parish in Schomberg. St. Patrick's Day celebrated at libraries Various branches of the King Township Public Library put on various parties Saturday to teach kids about St. Patrick's Day. Vanessa Vriccardi was helping her little brother Joey with the crafts in Nobleton. Youngsters in Nobleton were working on St. Patrick's Day mobiles. Katelyn Popov-Vaters was busy with her creation. Kids made pots of gold and St. Patrick's Day decorations at the event at Schomberg Library. Schomberg residents, Ainslee Bissette, 6, Mikaela, 7 and Celina Lovisotto, 5 hold up their creations.
