NOBLETON SKATING CLUB IS 50

The Nobleton Skating Club is celebrating 50 years in the community, and Mayor Margaret Black was on hand Monday night to recognize the occasion. She was there to present a certificate to Janice Boyd and Susan Zacchigna, co-chairs of the club's Ice Show, which is currenlty in rehearsals. The theme of the show will be A Skate Down Memory Lane, and it will be a tribute to Nobleton over the last 50 years. About 225 skaters will be taking part, and the club is trying to find old members from the past who would like to skate once more. There will be two shows April 5, at 1 and 7 p.m., and a 1 p.m. show April 6.
