Puck's Farm holding 28th annual Easter Egg Hunt and Winter Fest
By Jon Yaneff

Puck's Farm is celebrating the end of winter and the approach of Easter with their 28th annual eightday Easter Egg Hunt.

The world's largest event of its kind started this weekend (March 8) and continues every weekend through March 24, including Good Friday and Easter Monday.

This year's festivities will include special winter activities, such as tobogganing (helmets required), a snowman competition, as well as egg games, egg races, egg scrambles and an all day Easter Egg hunt.

During this spring/winter event there will be pony rides, horse-drawn hay rides and farm animals for the kids to meet and pet.

Puck's Farm is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with hourly events starting at 11 a.m. The Easter Egg hunt runs all day.

There is also The Moraine Learning Centre at Puck's Farm, which has been working with teachers and parents for 27 years. This centre introduces children to nature and helps them develop a sustainable love and appreciation for the natural world around them.
