HAPPY RETIREMENT STARTS

Members of the community were stopping in at the King City Post Office Friday to wish Assistant Postmaster Sandra Charman a happy retirement. She has been on the job for 20 years, recalling when she started, everyone picked up their mail at the post office. "That was sort of the hub of the community," she recalled. The King City resident said she plans to spend her new free time travelling, involving herself in the king City Seniors' Centre, and doing "whatever I want to do."
