Upcoming nature photography workshop and events

Local nature photographer Garry Conway will be holding a series of digital darkroom workshops.

There will be four classes running over successive Thursdays (except during March break, from Feb. 28 until March 27.

The fee for this four-week course is $80, and it will provide a learning experience for processing your digital photographs. The course will cover preparing photographs for e-mailing, printing, resolution, colour balance, saturation, contrast control, magic masks, layers and applying text.

People taking the course have to bring their own lap top computers with Photoshop or Photoshop Elements installed and a basic knowledge of using a computer is required.
