Winter carnival on the Marsh
Snow is a great surface on which to have a tug-of-war, and that what these young students at Holland Marsh District Christian School were doing Thursday. It was one of the fun activities in their annual winter carnival, which this year coincided with the school's 65th anniversary observances. Other outdoor activities included this obstacle course, which Grade 6 student Melanie Wong is seen making her way through, and the winter dress-up relay race, in which Daria Terpstra was competing. Teams of students also combined their skills to make snow sculptures. These young folks were hard at work making a robin.
