All Saints' invites you to celebrate the Eucharist in the Chapel this Sunday (Feb. 24) at 8 a.m. Or, meet in the Church for our family service at 10:30 a.m., followed by coffee hour; a good time to get to know others.

Past and present members of Guiding and Scouting are invited to wear their uniforms to commemorate World Thinking Day, as we enjoy a contemporary service with the band.

This coming Tuesday (Feb. 26), come to the second Lenten church history session at 7 p.m., led by Rev. Canon Jerry Loweth, discussing John Wesley and Methodism, and Archbishop Cranmer and the Prayer Book. March 4 topics will be wartime Anglicanism under Archbishop William Temple, and the modern crisis arising over viewpoints on homosexuality. In case of weather cancellations, please call the church at (905) 833-5432 for a recorded message.

With the rummage sale April 12, now's the time to begin to sort out all your stored sports equipment, games and old dishes. Drop off your boxes during office hours, inside the front Atrium door, off the parking lot. We're sorry we can't accept electronic equipment, such as computers and TVs. Come to help sort Tuesdays, between 9 a.m. and noon.

The Food Bank pick up is this Saturday (Feb. 23) for York Region needs. Drop off cans of coffee and packages of tea for a dozen families, along with canned meats, tuna, salmon, and nutritious staples. Leave items in the cart inside the east (office) door.

This Lent, we are starting our monthly bagel breakfasts for the two youth groups. Those aged 12 and over are invited to come for Bagels and Hot Topic Discussions at 9 a.m. the first Sunday of the month, beginning March 2. Those under 12 start the third Sunday of the month, March 16, at 9 a.m., for Bagels, Games, and Discussions. All are welcome to join us.

Remember that Daylight Saving Time begins early this year, March 9, when the men cook a free breakfast for all takers at 9 a.m., between the services. The smell of fried bread and bacon fills the building. Watch your cholesterol!

We take services of Holy Communion to King City Lodge, Sherwood Court, and York Central Hospital, so please call the church to arrange a visit.

Palm Sunday, Mar. 16, opens a series of special Holy Week and Easter services. If you are going on holiday, find updates on King's Corners at www.kingsentinel.com
