The Schomberg Agricultural Society will be holding its fourth annual Farm Tour March 8, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The cost of this "drive yourself" tour will be $10 per car.

The map/ticket will give you the directions to each of the sheep and goat operations in the area to be visited.

Tickets may be purchased one week in advance of the tour at the following locations: Rona Cashway Schomberg, Schomberg Farm and Garden Supplies on Main Street in Schomberg, Richvale Saddlery at the Brownsville Junction Plaza, Nobleton Feed Mill on Old King Road in Nobleton, Tottenham Feed Service on Mill Street in Tottenham, Home Hardware in the Tottenham Mall and Maple Farm Supply in Bolton.

Tickets may be purchased the day of the tour at the Clubhouse on the Schomberg Fairgrounds on Main Street.

Light lunches will be served at the clubhouse.

Star Gazing at the

Dufferin Marsh

Check out the night sky over the Dufferin Marsh next Saturday (March 1) from 7 to 9 p.m.

Telescopes will be set up by the learning shelter off Dr. Kay Drive and experts will be there to answer questions. Provided that the sky is clear, we should be able to see Mars and Saturn, as well as a number of galaxies, double stars and nebulae. Bring binoculars and dress warmly. No flashlights please.

Please note, the alternate date, if it is cloudy, will be to following night (March 2). Happy Times Euchre Club

The top player among the ladies at the Feb. 13 session of the Happy Times Euchre Club was Peggy Johnston, followed by Mildred Jessop, Margaret Mulgrew and Sandra Doucette. The lucky draw was won by Arlene Bowen, who also took the Carrying Prize.

Leading things at the men's tables was Dan Gould, followed by Blake Coulter, Al Jackson and Murray Kaake. Irene Palmer was the winner of the lucky draw and Blake Coulter took the Carrying Prize.

The 50/50 prize winners were Ken Hodgson and Margaret Mulgrew, and door prize went to Arnold Rodgers.

The Schomberg Lion's Club treated the Happy Times Euchre Club to a wonderful lunch - homemade tomato soup and an assortment of sandwiches (the pickles were great too). Coffee and tea was served as we ate lunch and afterward we were treated to ice cream and desserts. A huge Thank You to the Schomberg Lion's Club from the Executive and membership of the Happy Times Euchre Club.
