Dufferin Marsh

The Dufferin Marsh Committee is holding their fourth annual Community Skate and Bonfire this Saturday (Feb. 9) from 3 to 6 p.m. on the marsh off Dr. Kay Drive in Schomberg.

Come out and bring your skates. Enjoy a fun family time with hotdogs, marshmallows and hot chocolate, and it's all free!

The top player among the ladies at the Jan. 30 meeting of the happy Times Euchre Club was Arlene Bowen, followed by Shirley Stonehouse, Colleen Coulter and Mildred Jessop. The lucky draw winner was Helen Groombridge.

Leading the way at the men's tables was Gloria Clarkson, followed by Jake Steenhoek, Andy Patterson and Al Jackson, with Walter Hill winning the lucky draw.

The 50/50 draw winners were Betty Ann Wilson and Elaine Ruddy.
