Come out for pancakes

The Men's Group at St. Mary Magdalene Anglican Church are having a pancake supper this coming Tuesday (Feb. 5) at the church. It will be from from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The Men's Group will be cooking up a storm to raise money for the Church.

More pancakes

The people at Schomberg United Church will be hosting their annual pancake supper Tuesday. It will run from 5 until 7 p.m. The price will be $7 for adults and $3 for children, with kids under five getting in for free. Happy Times Euchre Club

The top player at the ladies' tables at the Jan. 23 session of the happy Times Euchre Club was Murray Kaake, followed by Irene Palmer, Shirley Stonehouse and Peggy Johnston. The lucky draw winner was Shirley Kitchen. On the men's cards, the top player was Tom Wilson, followed by Arnold Rodgers, Annie Hill and Ken Hodgson, with John Banks winning the lucky draw.

The 50-50 draw winners were Mildred Jessop and Arnold Rodgers.

At the Jan. 16 session, the top player among the ladies was Shirley Stonehouse, followed by Helen Groombridge, Colleen Coulter and Peggy Johnston. The lucky draw was won by Mary Duggan. At the men's tables, the top player was Albert Drury, followed by Bob Bishop, John Banks and Blanche Crane. Irene Palmer was the lucky draw winner.

The winners of the 50-50 draw were Dan Gould and Arnold Rodgers.
