Police seek possible witnesses to murder of King man The York Regional Police are still actively investigating the murder of King resident Jason Pellicore, which took place Aug. 29, 2007, in Richmond Hill. They are seeking two individuals who were in the area at the time, around 8:50 to 9:30 a.m. They are not suspects, but police believe they may have information pertinent to the case. The first witness is male, who was wearing a white shirt with a blue stripe down both sides and was in the area at approximately 8:50 a.m. attending Essy Auto which is located at 344 Newkirk Rd., south of Major Mackenzie Drive. The second person was driving a smaller grey or silver Sport Utility Vehicle in the area at approximately 9:15 a.m. on Newkirk Road. Police were called to the area at about 9:25 a.m., responding to a report of a weapons call. The caller said that gunshots had been heard and a man had been shot. Pellicore, 34, was found at the scene with vital signs absent and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transferred to hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. Investigators are urging these two witnesses to contact police.
