Hydro One holding information session on transformer station

Hydro One will be holding its third Public Information Centre at Holland Marsh District Christian School to discuss the proposed construction of the Holland Transformer Station.

It will be Jan. 30, beginning with an open house at 6 p.m., followed by a presentation from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The new station is slated to go on the north side of Millers Sideroad, east of Dufferin Street. The utility has stated it's necessary in order to meet the growing demand for electricity and improve supply reliability.
