POLICE HOST SKATING PARTY
York Regional Police mascot Bucky Beaver, Chief Armand La Barge, former NHLer, Jim Thomson of King City, along with other mascots Morris Moose and Bobby Bear, were among among the celebrity guests and members of the public took part in the York Regional Police Holiday Season Free Community Skate at the Ray Twinney Recreation Complex in Newmarket Jan. 4. For the last three years the York Regional Police have created this opportunity for children of all ages and their families to join the chief and other guests for the free skate.
