Cancer society needs volunteers

The Canadian Cancer Society, Holland River Unit, is looking for volunteers to sell Pink Ribbons Oct. 4 and 5 for Breast Cancer Awareness Month at local businesses in the Schomberg area.

This is a great opportunity for high school students to accumulate community service hours.

Throughout October, the unit is also looking for businesses that would carry their Pink Ribbon coin boxes.
