Broome among artists to be seen in Studio Tour King 2008
      Her acrylics and watercolours depict floral and landscapes of the heart of King Township to perfection. Marianne Broome is an award-winning artist from King and will feature her artwork for the third annual Studio Tour King 2008, which takes place April 26 and 27 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Oak Ridges Moraine art book; Preserving the moraine with paint

Winter fun at Montessori Country School
     It was a perfect day for getting out to enjoy the winter landscape recently, while there was still snow on the ground. That's what the students at the Montessori Country School did as they took part in their annual winter carnival. The day featured a whole host of fun activities. Teacher Stephanie Swaine and Casa student Hayley Nyman were able to take a quick trip around the site, courtesy of this dog team from Windlift Kennel in Moonstone. Scott Nutt was driving the team.
