St. Patrick's Day

at St. Patrick

The Knights of Columbus and the Catholic Women's League of Saint Patrick parish in Schomberg are co-hosting a Saint Patrick's Day Dinner and Social March 15 rom 4:30 p.m. to midnight at Schomberg Community Hall.

The doors will open at 4:30 p.m., and a traditional Irish dinner will be available from 5 until 7p.m., followed by entertainment, music, song, door prizes for young and old, raffle draw, good fun and cheer for all.

Tickets are $15.00 for adults, $5 for children 15 years of age and younger and children five years of age and younger are free. Tickets are available after weekend masses at Saint Patrick Parish on Church Street or by contacting Al at (905) 936-2992 or Pat McCabe at (905) 939-4580.

The top player among the ladies at the Feb. 27 meeting of the Happy Times Euchre club was Greta Graham, followed by Shirley Stonehouse, Helen Groombridge and Margaret Mulgrew. The lucky draw was won by Dorothy Rodgers.

Tops at the men's tables was Gloria Clarkson, followed by Bill Groombridge, Lorne Lipsett and Bob Bishop, with the lucky draw being won by Annie Hill.

The 50/50 draw winners were Lorne Lipsett and Blanche Crane.
