Praise for local fire brigade
Letter to the Editor
The following letter, addressed to King Township Fire Chief Bryan Burbidge, was submitted to the Sentinel for publication. Last Tuesday (Jan. 8), we were in the unfortunate position of having our home struck by lightning which resulted in a very large fire. We could not let the incident pass without commenting on the excellent performance of the King Township Fire Department. They arrived within minutes and were at the door immediately to assist my husband who is disabled. We appreciate how hard they worked, keeping the damage to a minimum, and the time they took to explain what had happened. Throughout the entire ordeal the firefighters showed us compassion, understanding, and professionalism.
