103 AND GOING STRONG
 | | Kettleby area resident Winnifred Cutting turned 103 Nov. 27. Born near Plymouth in England, she left with her mother and two siblings (her father died when she was four) in 1918, just as the First World War was ending, arriving in Canada in 1919. She met her husband Bill at a dance in Aurora, and said it a case of the two spotting each other from across the floor. Over the years, she had two children, Grace and Allan, five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren and nine great-great-greatgrandchildren. She is seen here with Pebbles, her cat. |
