PAINTED LADY GALLERY OPENS

Mayor Margaret Black was on hand recently to help Rosa Calabrese officially open the Painted Lady Gallery on Highway 27 in Nobleton. The gallery will be exhibiting original creations of local and international artists. Calabrese is an artist herself, and was responsible for the work seen in the background. Called A Painted Lady, it consists of acrylic paint on eggshells over canvas. "Running an gallery has always been a dream of mine," she said at the grand opening. "This is just the beginning of a new dream."
