Warmth of Holiday Season Makes Up for cold at Main Street Chirstmas
 | | The weather was cold Saturday night, with snow on the ground, but that couldn't take the warm feeling for the holidays away from the streets of Schomberg. The Nobleton Schomberg District Chamber of Commerce hosted the annual Main Street Christmas, and filled it with the sights, sounds and music of the season. Some of the music came from these four carolers, who were back to entertain all.  | | The Spectacular Parade of Lights was a great way to conclude Main Street Christmas. And having started with the parade earlier in the day, Santa Claus (below) was there to the end.too. |

 | | Mayor Margaret Black was assisted by Lion Bill Hanlon as she drew the grand prize winning ticket in the Schomberg Lions annual Cash Draw. As a result, Don Kelson of Schomberg was $5,000 richer. Rosemary Hefron of Aurora won $1,000, Corry Warren of Schomberg won $500, Ken Orr of Tottenham won $500 and the $200 Sponsors prize went to Hall's Overhead Door of Bolton. |
