Main Street Christmas in Schomberg Saturday

Schomberg is going to be a very busy place Saturday as Main Street Christmas goes ahead, starting at 4 p.m. with the annual Santa Claus Parade. It will end at 8 p.m. with the Spectacular Parade of Lights.

In between, there will be a host of fun things to see and do. That will include costumed carolers, jugglers, entertainers and lots of other activities. Youngsters will also have the chance to visit Santa and his reindeer, and even have their pictures taken with him.

This annual festival is being staged by the Nobleton Schomberg District Chamber of Commerce.

Free parking will be available at the Brownsville Junction parking lot on Highway 27, with a shuttle bus transporting people to Main Street. People are asked to park at the southern end of the lot, and get on the bus near the LCBO store.
