Make your own elegant hat for holidays

An elegant afternoon of hat making, tea and light refreshments is planned for Dec. 15 at the King Township Museum.

The planned workshop will offer participants the opportunity to learn traditional millinery techniques while creating a velvet hat trimmed for the holiday season. Basic hand sewing skills are an asset.

Pre-register as enrollment is limited.

The cost is $30 per person, and that includes materials and light refreshments. The workshop will run from 1 to 4 p.m.
