Nobleton United Church

Nobleton United Church wishes to thank all those who attended our bazaar last Saturday (Oct. 27). It was a great success. Our raffle winners were Helen Inglis for the quilt, Marg McClure for the afghan and Pat Mellow for the place mats and serviettes. To all the ladies and gentlemen who worked so hard to put on our bazaar, a big thank you.

A Time to Remember, A Time of Silence - Nov. 11 11:15 a.m. Please join us this Remembrance Day.

We are having a Pasta Dinner and Euchre Night this Saturday (Nov. 10). Tickets are available from the church or from Sue at

Mark your calendars for our annual Book Fair which will be held Dec. 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Also, our annual Christmas Pageant will be held Dec. 2 at 7 p.m.

Our Youth Group meets this evening at 7 p.m. All high school aged teenagers in the community are welcome.

Join us this Saturday at 10 a.m., as our Bible study series with Rev. Jeff Loach continues.

This Sunday, we will have our Remembrance Day service starting at 9:45 a.m. Nursery care (for children five years and younger) is provided during the service and Sunday school for all ages follows at 11 a.m.

Lions clothing drive

The Lions Club of Nobleton is holding its annual Clothing Drive, benefitting the Salvation Army, Nov. 24. Watch the mail for your reminder card. Please leave clothing outside at 7 a.m for pick-up within the town. Clearly mark the bags for the Lions Club. Clothing can also be dropped off by the Community Hall in the arena parking lot.
