Wild knocked back into 10th place in thriller with Temiscaming
By Bill Rea

The King Wild turned in a solid two periods Saturday against the league-leading Temiscaming Royals .

"Unfortunately, it wasn't good enough," Head Coach Paul Hampton lamented, as his men fell 5-1 to the firstplace team in the Greater Metro Junior A loop. The loss puts the Wild back into 10th place.

Brendan Farrugia got the goal for the side.

The match was scoreless until late in the second period.

"We were all over them in the first," Hampton observed. "Couldn't score."

He added the first goal for the Royals was a bit of a fluke. "It kind of took the wind out of our sales," he observed.

The Wild are back in action tonight (Wednesday) when they host the Toronto Canada Moose, starting at 7:30 p.m. They will travel north to Gravenhurst Friday for a match with the South Muskoka Shield, starting at 7:30, then they will be home again Saturday night, when they entertain the Elliot Lake Bobcats, starting at 8:30 p.m.
