Scary times as libraries mark Halloween

The various branches of the King Township Public Library hosted parties and events Saturday to mark the approach of Halloween. These two girls started the fun in Nobleton with a bit of colouring. Katelyn Popov-Vaters, 5, was dressed as a monarch butterfly, while Catrina Catracchia, 6, was in her mermaid costume.
Shinead Owens was in her witch costume to read a story to the youngsters gathered in Schomberg.
At King City, Katelyn Bernath showed the youngsters some of the Halloween crafts they would be making.
