marks 80 years

Schomberg Public School will be the site of a reunion this Friday (Nov. 2) in honour of its 80th anniversary.

It will begin at 1:30 p.m. with a presentation in the school gym, followed by tours of the building.

The school is trying to locate former staff members. If you used to be on the staff, or know someone who was, you are asked to contact Fern Fraser at (905) 939-7711.

All are welcome. Remembrance Service

in Schomberg Next Sunday, (Nov. 11) at 10:45 the annual Remembrance Day service will be held at the Cenotaph in the grounds of the Schomberg Arena.

The Schomberg Lions Club and the Schomberg Agricultural Society are very honoured to organize this event on behalf of the community.

Snacks will be served after the service.
