Hospice open house tomorrow

Hospice King - Aurora will be hosting its annual fall open house tomorrow (Thursday) at its offices at 155 King Rd.

The open house will run from 4 until 7 p.m., and volunteers and staff look forward to showing their facility, as well as explaining their programs and directing people to other resources in the community.

Hospice King-Aurora has been providing support at no charge to the community since 1983, absorbing as much as 80 per cent of the cost through its own fundraising initiatives.

Hospice King - Aurora offers specialized services and support to those who live with life threatening illness and to those who are bereaved. Since 1983 Hospice King-Aurora has provided compassionate care, education and understanding of the nature of loss and grief through its professionally directed, trained network of volunteers.
