Nursery school selling pumpkins

Got your pumpkin for Halloween yet?

The folks at Kettleby Co-operative Nursery School will be selling them Saturday at York Pines United Church, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

They will be $10 for three or $5 for one. Call (905) 727-0453 for more information.

York Pines United Church

York Pines has a new minister, Rev. Ross Carson.

There will be a Covenanting Service, which he described as a completion of the search process, Oct. 28 at 3 p.m. at the church.

The service will be led by Rev. Carol McKinley and Rev. Phil Hobbs will be guest speaker. Other representatives from the Presbytery will be on hand.

Members of the United Church Women will provide refreshments after the service.
