Lots of fun and entertainment at the Schomberg community bonfire
The weather was probably a little warm of a bonfire, but there was still a good crowd a lot of enthusiasm at the fun evening hosted Saturday night by the Schomberg Agricultural Society. Schomberg Idol Laura Grossi was among those entertaining from the stage.
The fire was hot, but Fabio Lus was there to help his daughter Samantha, 4, toast her marshmallow.
The Murphy family were prize winners in the scarecrow contest, sponsored by the Nobleton Schomberg District Chamber of Commerce. Claire, Giselle, Matthew and Mike created this replica of Anita B. Buyin.
There were plenty of pumpkins to be carved Saturday night. Jennifer Somerville was helping her niece Macey Finter work on her creation, surrounded by her daughters Jessica and Janis.
