Association for single parents holding dance

One Parent Families Association (OPFA) is a non-profit organization that provides an opportunity for separated, divorced, widowed or never married parents, to socialize at dances, outings, gatherings, and family activities.

OPFA will be holding a fund-raising dance Oct. 13, at 8 p.m. It will be at Holland Landing Community Centre at 19513 Old Yonge St., and will feature a DJ, buffet at 11 p.m., as well as door and spot prizes. Everyone is welcome. Thickets are $12 for members, and $15 for nonmembers.
