MEET THE COBRAS

Brandon Oukes Last year was Brandon's first year of organized baseball; he played house league peewee. It was, therefore, quite an accomplishment for him to graduate to bantam, try out for the rep team and make it. Not only did Oukes make the squad, but he spent mot of the year as a starter, patrolling left field and batting sixth, seventh or eighth in the order. His enthusiasm and outgoing nature were a vital reason why his teammates stayed relaxed during some of the more trying stretches of the season. Brandon starts classes at King City S.S. this month and, if hard work counts for anything in life, he should enjoy four years of high school baseball.
