Anglican Church

Do join the friendly congregation at All Saints' on Keele Street in King City, with the early service of Holy Eucharist at 8 a.m. in the chapel. The second service meets at the new time of 10:30 a.m. in the church, with concurrent nursery care, and Sunday school for children up to Grade 6.

Exciting Friday monthly youth group activities welcome anyone in Grades 8 to 12, starting Sept. 14 at 6:30 p.m. Mark your calendars, as well, for Oct. 12, Nov. 16, and a joint Christmas party Dec. 14.

The group for Grades 1 to 7 starts Sept. 21, at 6:30 p.m., and meets the following months Oct. 19, Nov. 23, and Dec. 14. Bring your friends.

Look over study group options open to everyone in the community, for the small group of your choice. Drop in weekly for community prayer, meeting from 9 to 9:50 a.m. Wednesday mornings in the choir area (come and go when you wish). At 10 a.m., a onehour discussion will stimulate fresh perspective, in advance, for the Scripture readings for the following Sunday.

Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m., join us for hot soup (or provide some) at 6:30 p.m., or come for an hour of Bible study at 7, taking six weeks on Paul's letter to the Ephesians. As well, ask about joining an Alpha group, meeting for supper in a home, followed by a video and discussion about Jesus and Christianity.

Sept. 30, All Saints' welcomes guests and newcomers to the community to stay for one of our famous potluck lunches, followed by the annual Vestry meeting to hear reports from all the groups in the church. Then, at 7:30 p.m., enjoy the sounds of our newly refurbished and expanded pipe organ in a very special musical evening led by Director of Music Michael Leach, with Choral Evensong and an organ dedication in memory of Charles and Janet Burns.

Oct. 7 anticipates our traditional Harvest Thanksgiving, with guest preaching by Rev. Gillian Ball, returning soon to ministry in Mexico. Reserve your spot, too, for the monthly men's breakfast Oct. 7 (and the first Sunday of each month), as it gets off to a good start at 9 a.m.

All Saints' Anglican Church at 12935 Keele St. in King City, is a few doors south of King Road. Office hours are Tuesday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. If you know of a need or would like prayer, please contact the church office, or Rev. Nicola Skinner, at (905) 833-5432, or (EOL).
