Great weather once again graces annual Kettleby Fair

The weather was great, and so was the mood of the people attending the 31st annual Kettleby Fair Saturday. It was a chance to meet old friends and make some new ones, which is what Sarah Clark, 2, and her brother Nathan, 4, of Aurora were doing at the petting zoo.
The Toronto Morrismen entertained the crowds with their music and dancing.
Schomberg Idol Laura Grossi performed on stage a couple of times Saturday.
Jim Wemyss was once again chauffeur for his wife, Councillor Jane Underhill, and Councillor Jeff Laidlaw in Saturday's fair parade.
Jennifer Iannello, of Put On A Happy Face was finishing up a creation for Casey Boyd, 4, of Schomberg.
Don Fenn was once again running things at the stage.
Schomberg resident Doug Savage, of the Miniature Horse Club of Ontario, was on hand with some very lovable critters. They made friends easily, as Kieley McQuaker, 4, discovered. Kieley was at the fair with her grandmother, Councillor Linda Pabst.
There were a number of games for the young folks at the fair. Andrew Boland, 6, and his brother Parker, 7, of King City were trying their hands at bowling.
Nobleton - King City Horticultural Society members Jill Gellatly, Blair Day and Sheila Jarvis had lots of plants to sell at the fair.
Schomberg's Geoff Perry and soprano Samantha Taylor, 17, of Holland Landing, were part of the 90-minute show that wrapped up the stage entertainment.
