Tree workshop today

A free workshop on care and planting of tree seedlings is scheduled for tonight (Wednesday).

It will be at the Hollidge Tract of the York Region Forest Headquarters at 16389 Highway 48, one kilometre south of Vivian Road in Whitchurch- Stouffville.

The workshop will cover such topics as successfully planting trees on properties, learning how to chose the right trees, as well as how to plant and care for them.

It will run from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m.
