BROOME BUSY WITH SHOWS
King artist Marianne Broome recently received another award for her acrylic painting Iris Days. This work was selected by the visiting public out of some 300 plus paintings for the People's Choice Award. The painting is now on display at The Blooms Away show at The Skylark Gallery in Bolton where Broom is the featured artist. She has 23 floral paintings in the show, all done in acrylics on canvas. The show also features ceramics by King artist Christine Paige, jewelry and watercolour paintings. It runs until Oct. 15. Broome, who is seen here with Skylark owner Dianne Olchowy, will be showing a collection of her landscape works at the gallery from Oct. 15 to Nov. 15.
