Fisch elected to AMO board

York Region Chair Bill Fisch has been elected to the board of directors of the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO).

"AMO's board of directors benefits from membership from across the province, reflecting the diversity of Ontario's municipal governments," commented AMO President Doug Reycraft. "To that end, I am pleased to have Bill on the 2007- 2008 board team. The board will continue its efforts to see properly funded municipal governments."

Fisch was elected to the board at AMO's annual conference late last month.
