King man slain in Richmond Hill York Regional Police are looking for the killer of a King Township man in Richmond Hill last Wednesday. Police report officers responded to 354 Newkirk Rd., south of Major Mackenzie Drive at about 9:25 a.m. to a report of a weapons call. The caller advised that gunshots were heard and a male had been shot. Police and Emergency Medical Services personnel arrived on scene and located a male without vital signs, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transferred to hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later. He was identified as Jason Pellicore, 34, of King Township. Police are seeking public assistance in identifying a suspect who was seen in the area at the time of the homicide. The suspect, who was wearing dark-coloured clothing, was riding a scooter or small motorcycle and was wearing a grey or light-coloured helmet fitted with a full face cover. The scooter was last seen heading south on Newkirk. Investigators are urging anyone who may have seen this scooter or small motorcycle in the area near the time of the shooting to contact police.
