She needs to be buying
The lucky winner of the Name the Lady contest, presented by the Nobleton Schomberg District Chamber of Commerce, Schomberg resident Jacquie Boyd. Her winning suggestion for the name of the Shop Locally mascot lady is Anita B. Buyin (get it?) Boyd will be presented with $50 for her winning entry, and contest organizers hope she will continue in the spirit of shopping locally and spend it wisely. The Chamber extends thanks to the community for the many suggestions and for buying into the spirit of fun they hope everyone had with it.
Look for the Chamber's booth at the Kettleby Fair Saturday, and pick up passport to the Know your Village contest. This will be your chance to win $1,000 in gift certificates and to support the Shop Locally campaign. |
